Why You're Going to Love This

- Great recipe for parties, potlucks, and holidays
- Easy recipe for a no-bake dessert
- Chocolate + peanut butter = happiness 🙂
Ingredients
Oreos. 36 Oreos go into the crust and 4 more are crushed on top.
Cream cheese. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature so it blends easily into the peanut butter layer.
Cool Whip. You'll need two 8 oz. tubs of Cool Whip -- one for the cream cheese layer and one for the top layer. If you're not a fan of Cool Whip, I recommend giving Truwhip a try.
Chocolate chips. Mini chocolate chips add a little crunch and chocolate flavor to the peanut butter layer and make a great topping.
Instant chocolate fudge pudding mix. You can also use chocolate pudding mix, it's just not quite as dark or decadent as chocolate fudge pudding mix. Be sure to get instant pudding, not cook and serve.
Variations
Crust. Play around with different cookies for the crust like Nutter Butters, Nilla Wafers, graham crackers, or other flavors of Oreos.
Pudding. Vanilla pudding, white chocolate pudding, butterscotch pudding, cheesecake pudding -- use what sounds good to you!
Pie filling. Add a layer of cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer! Or mix and match your favorite pie filling and pudding flavors.
Flavor extracts. Add flavor enhancements like vanilla or almond extract to the cream cheese or pudding layer.
How to Make Peanut Butter Oreo Heavenly Dessert
1. Make the Oreo cookie crust.
Grind the Oreos into fine crumbs in a food processor or blender.
In a medium bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and melted butter.
Firmly press the buttery crumbs into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Place the pan in the freezer while you prepare the rest of the layers.
2. Make the peanut butter layer.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until fluffy. The mixture will be pretty thick.
Fold in the Cool Whip until completely combined and creamy. It may seem like it doesn't want to combine, but just keep folding. It'll get there.
Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Spread the peanut butter mixture over the Oreo cookie crust.
3. Make the creamy pudding layer.
In a medium bowl, whisk the pudding mix and milk together for 2 minutes. Let it sit for 5 minutes to set.
Dollop the chocolate pudding over the peanut butter layer and carefully spread it in an even layer.
4. Top with Cool Whip.
Spread the Cool Whip over the chocolate pudding layer.
5. Chill, serve, and enjoy!
Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Before serving, sprinkle crushed Oreos, peanut butter chips, and chocolate chips on top of the cake.
You can also serve it partially frozen -- super delicious!
