- Made with simple, wholesome ingredients

🍁Ingredients
See recipe card at the bottom of the post for the full list of ingredients and exact amounts.
- Plain Greek yogurt. You can use full fat or nonfat. Full-fat, whole-milk Greek yogurt will give the dressing a smoother, creamier texture.
- Balsamic vinegar. Use a high quality balsamic vinegar when making homemade salad dressings. Lower-quality versions lack the depth of flavor. You can read more about the differences in the types of balsamic vinegars here.
- Maple syrup. Pure maple syrup adds rich sweetness but doesn't make the dressing sweet. Adjust it to taste. You can also use honey.
🌿Variations or Substitutions
- Fresh or dried herbs. Add extra flavor with your favorite dried herbs like thyme or Italian seasoning or fresh rosemary, basil, or thyme.
- Sour cream or mayo. Substitute some or all of the Greek yogurt with sour cream or mayonnaise.
- Fresh garlic. Mince one garlic clove in place of the garlic powder.
- Lemon juice. Squeeze in some lemon juice to brighten up the flavors.
🥣How to Make Creamy Balsamic Dressing
Step 1: Whisk all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
Step 2: Chill for at least an hour to allow the flavors to mingle. Store in a mason jar or airtight container in the fridge. Enjoy on your favorite salads like this Spinach Arugula Caprese Salad.
👉Helpful Hint: After you mix up the dressing, taste it and adjust to your preferences. Add more balsamic vinegar for a more intense flavor, more maple syrup to balance the acidity of the vinegar, or a little more salt if the flavor is flat overall.
🎁Storage
Store creamy balsamic dressing in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a week. Shake well before using.
