Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 7 ounces marshmallow creme
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ cup hot cocoa mix about 4 packets (may vary)
  • 1 ½ cups Cool Whip
  • Optional toppings: mini marshmallows, marshmallow bits, mini chocolate chips, chocolate sprinkles, shaved chocolate

Instructions

  • Beat cream cheese, marshmallow fluff, and almond extract until smooth. Mix in the hot cocoa mix until well combined. Fold in the Cool Whip with a spatula.
    Chill at least one hour.
    Top with mini marshmallows, mini chocolate chips, and chocolate shavings. Serve with cookies, graham crackers, pretzels, and fruit.

Notes

  • Recipe yields about 3 cups. 
  • Use softened cream cheese so the mixture whips up fast, easy, and super creamy. 
  • Chill the hot chocolate dip for at least an hour to allow the flavors to mingle, the cream cheese to firm up, and the hot chocolate crystals to soften.
