A homemade Oreo Cookie Crust recipe takes any no bake dessert to the next level. Easy recipe with 3 simple ingredients -- perfect base for your favorite no bake pies, ice cream cake, and cheesecake recipes.
Grind Oreos in a food processor or blender into fine crumbs. You can also crush them in a ziploc bag with a rolling pin.
Stir the crushed Oreos, melted butter, and pinch of salt together in a small bowl until the mixture is completely combined.
Use your hands to press the buttery crumbs into a pie plate until there are no loose crumbs. Press firmly enough to make a compact crust but don't press too hard or the crust can become hard. Use a the bottom of a glass or measuring cup to pack the crumbs into the pie plate. Work your way around the pan using one thumb to gently even out the top of the crust and the other hand or a measuring cup to press the crust into the side of the pan.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or just until fragrant.
Cool and fill the crust according to the filling recipe's instructions. For most no-bake recipes, you'll cool the crust completely before adding the filling.
Notes
Cush the Oreos into fine crumbs, filling and all. There is no need to scrape the filing out of the Oreos before making this pie crust.Be careful not to pack the crust too tight or the crust can become hard. For best results, bake your Oreo cookie pie crust unless the frozen or no bake pie filling recipe states otherwise.
