BBQ Chicken Flatbread is an incredibly delicious pizza you can make in about 20 minutes with 5 ingredients. Perfect for a snack or an easy weeknight dinner -- and a great way to use up leftover rotisserie chicken!
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Warm the naan flatbreads directly on the oven rack for 2 minutes per side.
Toss the chicken with 1 ½ tablespoons BBQ sauce.
Spread 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce on each piece of naan bread. Top each flatbread with ¾ cup shredded Colby Jack cheese, ¼ cup of BBQ chicken, and ½ of the sliced red onion. Optional, sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
Bake directly on the oven rack for 6-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown. Place a baking sheet or piece of foil on the rack below to catch any drips. Serve with sliced green onions and more BBQ sauce, if desired.
Notes
Pre-baking the naan flatbread keeps the crust from getting soggy. If possible, use freshly shredded cheese from a block. It melts much better than pre-shredded cheese. Place a piece of foil or a baking sheet on the rack below the flatbread pizza to catch any drips.
