Chocolate Crescent Roll Cinnamon Rolls

Chocolate Croissant Cinnamon Rolls are soft pastries with crescent roll dough, chocolate-cinnamon filling, and a simple glaze.  Easy crescent cinnamon rolls for Easter brunch or weekend mornings. 

– Crescent roll dough – Butter – Cocoa powder – Brown sugar – Cinnamon – Mini chocolate chips – Powdered sugar – Vanilla – Milk or cream


Stir the softened butter and cocoa powder together.

Combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and chocolate chips.

Roll out crescent dough. Evenly spread chocolate butter over dough.

Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over the butter.

Roll up the dough from the long end

Cut the log in half crosswise. Cut each log in half lengthwise.

Roll each portion with cut sides facing up. Place in muffin tin.

Bake until golden brown.

Stir powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla, milk together.

Spoon frosting over warm rolls. Sprinkle with a few more chocolate chips.
