Microwave Steamed Carrots

Microwaved Carrots are a tasty, easy side dish that takes about 10 minutes to make.  Try them simply steamed and tossed with butter, salt, and pepper, or glazed with brown sugar and butter. I'll show you how to do both!

– Fresh carrots  – Butter – Salt & pepper – Brown sugar or honey


Scrub and peel carrots. Cut into 1/2" thick slices.

Steamed Carrots:  Microwave carrots and water until tender. Drain. Toss with butter, salt and pepper. 

Glazed Carrots:  Microwave carrots, butter, and brown sugar/honey until tender. Serve with brown sugar sauce.
