Creamy Tzatziki Cucumber Salad

Tzatziki Creamy Cucumber Salad recipe is a tangy twist on traditional creamy cucumber salad.  Enjoy it as a refreshing summer salad, a cooling side to spicy dishes or stuffed into gyros or tacos.

–English cucumber – Salt – Plain Greek yogurt – Olive oil – Lemon juice – Lemon zest – Fresh dill – Fresh mint – Garlic – Shallot – Salt & pepper


Thinly slice the cucumber and toss the slices with salt. Let them drain in a colander for 30-60 minutes.

Combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, mint, garlic, black pepper, and salt, if needed.

Add the sliced shallot and cucumber slices to the dressing and gently toss.

Serve and enjoy!
