Russian Tea Cakes 

Russian Tea Cakes, aka Mexican Wedding Cookies, are buttery shortbread cookies with flecks of pecans rolled in powdered sugar.  Delicious classic Christmas cookie recipe everyone loves.

– Butter  – Powdered sugar – Vanilla extract – Flour – Salt – Pecans


Cream butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla together. 

Mix in flour and salt until it forms a stiff dough. Chill. 

Roll dough into balls and bake. 

Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
