How to Make an Angel Food Cake Roll

Lemon Angel Food  Cake Roll with Cream Cheese Filling is light and airy with lemon cream cheese filling.  Impressive and easy to make, an angel food cake roll is perfect for Easter and Mother's Day.

– Angel food cake mix – lemon juice  & zest – powdered sugar – cream cheese – condensed milk – whipped topping – coconut

Ingredients

Mix angel food cake with lemon juice, lemon zest, and water. 

Pour batter into rimmed sheet pan lined with parchment paper. 

Bake until golden brown. Cool. 

Flip cake onto kitchen towel sprinkled with powdered sugar. Roll it up. Cool. 

Beat cream cheese, condensed milk. lemon juice and zest. Fold in whipped topping. Cool to thicken. 

Unroll cake. Spread with filling. Roll cake back up. 

Frost top and sides with more filling. 

Sprinkle top with coconut. If desired, decorate with lemon zest and lemon twists.
