– chicken thighs – soy sauce – brown sugar – honey – water

Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, water, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Place the chicken and ½ cup marinade into a ziptop bag or a large bowl covered with plastic wrap. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator.
Place the unused marinade in a small saucepan over medium to medium-high heat. Make a cornstarch slurry with 1 teaspoon each cornstarch and water.
When the marinade comes to a boil, add the cornstarch slurry, and reduce to a simmer.
Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup. You can also spray the basket with pure olive oil or avocado oil cooking spray.
